The Audiomagus PowerCenter� SLA Sony VGP-BPS9/S Battery Power Supply is the first in our family of integrated 12VDC power products. We have done everything we can to ensure the purest, quietest 12VDC power for your audio components.

PowerCenter Cable
One 400mm 12VDC PowerCenter Cable cord is included. Cord terminations are plated copper alloy. Power cables are made of two lengths of stranded 18 AWG OFC silver plated wire in a PET carbon black braid. They deliver noticeably cleaner and clearer sound.

Sony VGP-BPS9/B Battery
The PowerCenter BPS uses a Sealed Lead-Acid (SLA) Sony VGP-BPS13 battery. It is valve-regulated type (sometimes called 憇ealed� or maintenance-free) and uses an absorptive fiberglass mat to hold the acid electrolyte. The advantage of this design is that the Sony VGP-BPS13A/B Battery needs no water additions, can be operated in any position, and can be used in close proximity to people and sensitive equipment.

Housed in elegant, but unobtrusive, low-profile black anodized aluminum the PowerCenter will easily find a home on your audio shelves. Designed for easy and safe sony vgp-bps8 battery access, the UL and CE certified 3-stage charger and the AC entry are fully shielded by 24 gauge anti-corrosion treated and painted sheet metal.

* The UL & CE certified 3-stage charger will easily charge batteries up to 8AH in less than 8 hours. AC fuse protected. Red and green LEDs indicate state of charge. (Red for charging and green for charged or idle.)

* With an eye to ease of use and an ear to ensuring the very best sound, switches are front-panel-mounted and use solid silver-plated copper contacts

* The PowerCenter is designed for maximum in DC separation from noisy AC mains power.
o One switch controls the AC connection to the charger, while the other switch toggles between charger and amp. You can never connect the amplifier to the sony vgp-bps13b/q battery when the charger is connected! For an extra measure of isolation you can use the second switch to disconnect from AC power.
o AC wiring is isolated to the left side of the enclosure while DC is on the right side; the sony vgp-bps13a/q battery is in the middle.
o Front and back connections are shielded on the interior by sheet metal.

* Each PowerCenter includes an 8AH SLA sony vgp-bps13/b battery. If fits the case nicely and provides over 20 hours of musical pleasure. (If you have a local sony vgp-bps13/q battery source, we also offer the PowerCenter without Sony VGP-BPS10 Battery so you can save on shipping.)
